King’s College Hospital London launched in the region two years ago but had not developed a mature social media strategy, especially ahead of launching its state of the art hospital in the Dubai Hills. With little public awareness about the clinic and hospital offerings, KCHL turned to social media as one of the main awareness tools.
Social Shop by Aurora created a strategy which combined key social tactics including social advertising, bespoke content and influencer outreach. Utilising the clinic and hospital staff as part of the clinic story, Social Shop pushed out content to key target audiences while influencers trailed key services.
Clinic traffic in the Dubai area increased throughout the first six months in which Social Shop was on board and the online communities grew by over 180%. Reach increased dramatically with an average monthly reach of approximately 500,000.
