BurJuman is one of Dubai’s oldest shopping centres. Due to the evolution of the catchment area population the mall had lost relevance amongst the surrounding population. BurJuman Centre wanted to rebrand and become a more ‘family focused mall’.
Social Shop by Aurora revamped the centre’s social media strategy in order to create an engaging community where mall goers could communicate and ask questions about the mall offerings. Content also focused on gamified posts designed to create engagement.
BurJuman’s Facebook community now sits at over 100,000 members and engagement rates are well over 3% monthly, despite Facebook’s algorithmic challenges.
