Arab Health is the region’s largest exhibition related to healthcare, while Medlab is a separate show for medical laboratory technicians. The events combined bring approximately 150,000 individuals to Dubai over a two-week period. Arab Health is the largest show, generating 82.4 million dollar’s worth of business. During 9 months of the year, the social media pages are managed internally by a stretched marketing team. The team brought Social Shop on board to manage both brands during a three-month period, including during show times.
Social Shop by Aurora created a turnkey social media management and content creation service designed to minimize time needed for input from the marketing team. By creating a new look and feel and by optimising Instagram, the team quickly created greater engagement and provided a more professional image for the show.
Overall organic impressions on both Arab Health and Medlab platforms numbered over 3,000,0000 during the three months while community sizes increased double in some cases. Instagram was heavily used by exhibitors and by us, and over 300 stories were shared in a one month period, making 2019 Arab Health’s most successful social media year to date.
